This Ducati is sublime. I can't think of any word that suits it better.
I bought this bike from Rich at Louigi Moto in 2022 to use as a track machine and occasional sunday rides. I have done one track day and one ride out in a year, so as incredible as this bike is, I can't justify keeping it.
Everything on this bike is either New, As New or Refurbished and was a custom build from Louigi Moto. The bike has 500 miles on it since being completly rebuilt.
ENGINE
The engine is an SPS engine that has been balanced, blue printed and over-bored to 853cc. It is the best of the 748 without the tractor like qualities of the 916. Free revving and with the torque to propel you forward instantly.
I have recently had the bike on the Dyno at PDQ for a power run, as per the pic, it made 103HP at the rear wheel, with more to come with the addition of a Power Commander if you wanted to. If you consider that the 748R made 106HP at the crank, this is a very conservative 10% in power over the 748R with more in reserve if wanted.
SUSPENSION
SPS spec Ohlins shock, serviced and set up. Fully adjustable Showa forks, anodised black with nitrided coating.
BRAKES
PFM 6-piston billet calipers on Iron PFM disks. These brakes are insanely good, I was routinely late braking past V4 Panigales with complete confidence, and I am a middling rider at best. The best brakes I have ever used on a motorcycle and a £2000 package if you're buying new.
EXHAUST
Termignoni, the sound is incredible, just the best.
OTHER
Marchesini 5 spoke wheels, freshly painted in glossy black.
The frame has been painted in the same colour as the wheels and looks fantastic.
The Senna bodywork is real and original and has a few scuffs on it which only adds to the appeal of the bike. The tyres are super sticky Avon AC1 and AC3 and were new before I did my single track day. The bike is dripping on carbon fibre, all it needs for a full set is the airbox.
For transparency, this is not a numbers matching bike, while everything on the bike is 748SPS the frame is from an SP after the SPS frame was found to be cracked. This is reflected on the V5 and in the asking price.
PRICE
I will consider offers but the price is fairly firm. You could not even come close to having this bike built in it's 'almost new' and upgraded state for the asking price. This is a steal for the money and I've almost talked myself out of selling it.
This Ducati needs nothing and will come with 12 Months MOT on sale.
