John Chatham Cars has the pleasure to offer this very rare Austin Healey 100/ 6 BN6 (2 seat) Ruddspeed. This LHD 100/ 6 was imported by John Chatham from California some 18months ago. It was found in a barn and was dry stored for over 35years. California cars have a reputation for being rust free and this was no exception. This car has to be the best we have seen in many years with all external panels needing no rust repairs and were in immaculate condition. The chassis was much the same with no rust just a slight dent on the outer sill which needed to be replaced other than that it is all original. The car is currently undergoing a complete restoration at our workshop in Bristol and completion date is due to be towards the end of summer 2019. It will be finished in Black over Red with red interior. The car also benefits from an original and rare Ruddspeed conversion triple SU setup uprated front dunlop brake discs and well as uprated cam and compression to give an all round faster road package. The car is mid way through the build and can be finished to the customer desire to put your on personal touch on the car.
