There's nothing quite like the resonant, deep burble of a Rover V8 engine, whether it's echoing down a secluded country lane or rumbling through Reece Mews in South Kensington, just as Mr. Graham experienced in 2001. He became the first owner after reserving it in November 1997.
Fast forward 22 years, and we are thrilled to present the G4 Mog, now with its third owner. While not our typical offering, this vehicle aligns perfectly with our ethos, especially after undergoing performance enhancements in 2005.
Mog Sport installed a new 'Class B 253bhp @ 6000 rpm' engine from JE Developments. This engine boasts a lightweight bottom end, balanced for performance. The head has been polished and ported, equipped with a high lift (218) cam and high rev cam lifters (capable of 6500 rpm), matched with an upgraded clutch for superior performance.
The upgrades didn't stop with the engine; the chassis and suspension received attention from Mog Sport as well, ensuring that the vehicle delivers an ultimate driving experience with precise handling.
However, don't mistake this for an uncontrollable beast. What we have here is a finely-tuned Morgan Plus 8, crafted to perform when prompted and capable of covering significant distances swiftly and in comfort. Its long-door design also makes entering and exiting the vehicle more convenient.
This exceptional vehicle will be sold with a fresh MOT, ready for its next adventure.
