1973 Triumph Trophy Trail 500cc twin. The TR5T is a rare classic Triumph, that was only manufactured 1973 / 74. This Trophy Trail is original and unmolested, and in nice condition. These rare desirable Triumphs, are very are light and nimble, and are very easy on the eye, with their styling and front and rear wheel conical hubs. As well as the V5C registration document, there are past MOT test certificates present, which indicate that the very low mileage of 1151 is genuine. At some point both wheels have also been rebuilt, with stainless spokes. The Triumph has been part of a collection of classic motorcycles, and hasn't been on the road since 2008. However, the oils have been changed, and a new battery fitted. All of the electrics work, and the Triumph does run, but it will need recommissioning. These Triumphs are rarely seen for sale, as a lot were used and abused in their heyday, and when they do come up for sale, they vary from basket cases, to well presented examples. This example has to be one of the lowest mileage, surviving Trophy Trails, and still has all of it's original parts fitted, that were unique to the Trophy Trail.
