Description
A superbly restored and extremely rare H-D SST250. This version has the disc front brake and headlight ears as opposed to the more popular drum brake SS250.
The bike has a current MOT and tax but qualifies for being MOT exempt and tax free. V5 in my name.
The SST starts and rides really well, starting first kick, even when left for a while and happily zips along at a decent pace for a 42 year old bike.
The bike was subject to a ground up restoration a few years ago, but where possible the original parts have been re-used in order to keep it's originality, however it has had a new headlight and the master cylinder has been replaced. I do have the original Brembo m/ c but it needs a piston seal kit.
Surprisingly for an Italian Harley all the electrics work perfectly and the bike has the original switchgear, which has been sadly lost on most of these bikes.
Please look at the images and feel free to ask any questions, but rest assured you wont see many others like this around and as far as classic bikes go this is great value compared to most of the Jap 250s.
