Car History:-
It was built and raced in the year 2000 for the 750mc Locost race series.
Previous owner bought it in 2003 in its original spec with a 1300cc race prepared Ford Crossflow engine.
In 2004, the car was used for hillclimbs and with the crossflow engine this chassis managed a 69. 48 second run at Loton Park.
In 2005 it then had an engine change to a Yamaha R1 4xv engine, but this was a slow project, which only finished in 2008.
I purchased the car in late 2008, and since then it has been used as a track day only car.
It has ALWAYS been garaged, started bi-weekly, and been on no more than 12 track days – having a full service after every track day, replenishing oil and filters.
Due to lack of use, and a move to the USA later this year, it is with great sadness that my pride and joy is now For Sale.
