This lovely Minx was supplied new by Slade Bros in Sidmouth Devon on 8th June 1954 to its first owner a Mr GC Croft who was a fastidious owner who never used the car in poor weather. Covering only 29154 miles between 1954 and 1983 it is believed that Mr Croft gave up driving in late 1983 and the Minx remained unused for 5 years until it was purchased by a DR J. H Howells in 1988.
Dr Howells was a classic car collector who kept the car garaged and rarely drove it in his 14 years of ownership.
The Minx was then sold in late 2002 to the Windmill collection with a mileage of just 29510.
In May 2003 the Minx was sold again to a Mr Martyn Johnson of Lumbfoot West Yorkshire with a mileage of 29609, rarely used apart from a few runs out with the local classic car club. It was then purchased in July 2010 by its last owner with just 30474 on the clock.
The present mileage today is 37732 which is incredibly low for a vehicle which is 64 years of age.
The Minx is in original unrestored condition and is in really good shape. The paintwork is incredible with a lovely deep shine, the interior is exceptional and the underneath is excellent with no sign of any welding.
In my opinion the number plate deserves to stay with the car but it has been valued at £3000 alone!
