1975 Ducati 250 cc Desmo MK3 UK example registered 1/ 2/ 1975 , Correct engine to frame , 5 former keepers , 376 km , Original bike other than in 2011 the engine was stripped and the bike recommisioned by Ducati specialist Derek Blackie . Other than some clearances being set , New O rings , Fork seals replaced and New battery nothing was required (Documented) . The "Desmo" has become an icon , Developed through racing the first Desmotronic engines came out in 1969 , Single Overhead Cam With Bevel Gear Drive , 9. 7. 1 compression ration , Delorto VHB 29 Carburetor and 5 speed gearbox . 1973 saw the classic yellow and black colour scheme of its big brother and by 1974 it gained Ceriani front forks and a single Brembo disk brake. Production ended in 1974 . I am delighted to offer this classic Ducati in such an exceptional condition . Recently fitted with a new battery and two new Dunlop K82 tyres . MOT not required but we are happy to MOT the Ducati if required . Part of a large private Ducati collection until recently .
