motodrome are pleased to offer this very high spec 2003/ 53 Land Rover Defender 90 TD5 X-tech County 6 seater, finished in Silver with black trim.
The standard X-tech special edition specification includes air conditioning, cold climate pack inc. heated front seats and windscreen, , remote alarmed central locking with immobiliser, electric front windows, black chequerplated wingtops, modesty covers, and rear quarters, alpine lights, full headlining, alpine lights, aluminium gearknobs, and colour coded wheelarch eyebrows. This one also seems to have been factory fitted with steering guard, soft front A bar, sidesteps and rear step, rear mudflaps, and adjustable towpack.
Externally, this one is further upgraded with auxiliary lights mounted on the front bar, snorkel, panoramic rear windows, beadlock wheels shod with a matching set of Cooper ST Maxx LT265/ 75 R16 M& S tyres, and full LED light kit.
Internally, it’s further upgraded with Momo steering wheel, modern stereo, a pair of Exmoor Trim sculpted high-back seats in the front, lockable metal centre cubby box, seat risers on drivers seat, and twin rear bench seats. Also fitted with Parrot Bluetooth system (untested).
For me it’s crowning glory is the mechanical spec: - it’s in Stage 3 tune having been fitted with Jeremy Fearn Intercooler, remap and boost box, and TD5 alive sports exhaust system and EGR bypass kit. We have a Dyno printout from Jeremy Fearn showing 202bhp. It certainly feels far quicker than standard, with a great exhaust note when opened up.
Odometer reading 136000 miles, supported by history including stamped original service book, and a sheaf of bills. Last serviced (by specialist) July 2018 at 132038m, and the turbocharger was replaced at the same time.
Comes with MOT to August 2019. According to the MOT database, it’s never failed an MOT on structural corrosion.
