The letter S after A65 stands for Spitfire.
Please note that this bike has not been used for the last 7 years as the last owner had become of an age where as he could not ride anymore, the bike was last mot'd and taxed in 2012, fitted with a Boyer Bransden Electronic ignition for easy starting, the fuel tank is new and has recently been sealed for protection of the new enthanol types of fuels, new front mudguard, new chrome chainguard, new chrome down pipes fitted and the tyres look like they have hardly been used.
We have lots of documentaion and paperwork. DVLA V5c, Original USA title deed from Missouri showing date of 1967, Various old mots, various pictures to show that the gearbox has been rebuilt, a genuine BSA parts book, and three workshop manuals + two keys.
The BSA A65S Spitfire has just been started in our workshop with fresh fuel for the first time after the 7 year rest and sounds well with a strong sounding engine.
The overall condition is clean and tidy for a bike of this age.
