We are delighted to present this beautiful Mercedes w115 200 into stock. A high specced model with just 82k miles in the hands of just 4 owners from new. Presented in my favourite period w115 colour of custard with bordo cloth interior. This car looks stunning in the flesh. The service history on this car is excellent containing the cars original original book pack, original fully stamped service book including previous mot’s, invoices, concours winning certificates and hand written letters backing up the cars mileage and condition.
As you can see from the photos the exterior of this car presents very well. The colour combination on this car is just perfect for the w115 and it’s one of our favourites. The car sits up very well on her steel rims, with excellent hubcaps and matching period tyres. The quality of the paint on this car is excellent with no mismatched panels although she does have some age related blisters and makes to the body work which are commensurate to her age. All chrome work is fantastic and the car presents extremely well. Structurally the car is excellent and would take very little to have the body back to concours standard.
The interior of this car is just a lovely place to be. The period level of spec on this car is excellent, the car is complete with its original rear screen blind which was special order in the day. All carpets, seats and head cloth are excellent and are in remarkably good condition for the year of the car. The only marks to note are to the base of the drivers seat which has frayed slightly. This would be a very simple fix to any trained trimmer.
Mechanically this car is spot on. Having been maintained regardless of cost it’s entire life she has wanted for nothing. Most recently the car has been fully serviced and the carb has been rebuilt. On the road this car performs effortlessly and the cabin is extremely quiet. The manual gearbox and clutch work faultlessly and are pleasure to use. Having driven this car over 500 miles I can confirm how well this w115 drives as it should and pulls effortlessly.
Complete with the biggest history I seen in a long time with invoices, mots, tax discs, service manuals, service book and two keys. This has to be one of the best Mercedes w115 available needing very little to make her a show winner once again.
