Made between 2008-2012 Tesla’s goal was to make a car that looked great, performed brilliantly and had a long range while being purely electric powered. Tesla produced 2, 450 roadsters and sold these in over 30 countries. UK models were produced from 2010 onwards were assembled near to the Lotus factory in Hethel, UK. This was the start of Tesla’s journey, which allowed Elon Musk to follow his master plan in producing the Model S, Model X, Model 3 and soon to come Model Y, Tesla Semi and the upcoming Roadster. This sets itself as a real piece of history for any electric car enthusiast as well as being pivotal for the development of electric cars.
