As rare as hens teeth!
Brand new unregistered barn find MGB GT Jubilee
This car was owned by an MG dealership which ceased trading and closed its doors in 1975. The owner of the business bought the GT and placed it in storage where it has remained ever since.
The car has never been registered and comes with an old V55/ 2 document an invoice from the distributor to the dealer, service and handbooks and two sets of keys.
The GT has never been started or used and will require a fairly substantial amount of work to make it useable. The car is complete with nothing missing, it still has the original 45 year old tyres which are holding air and the car rolls freely.
Upon opening the radiator cap there is still original anti freeze/ coolant and the engine oil looks like new.
We have not and will not attempt to start it but would imagine it will need replacement plugs points coil condenser, master cylinders battery, pipes bushes and rubbers replacing and brakes etc.
The car has been barn stored and covered in wax from new, the shell appears to be very solid and the underneath looks totally solid however there are some rust blisters on the body and mild surface corrosion on various components.
The seats still have the original plastic covers on them and the quarter light windows are covered in black tape which is how it would have left the factory.
The windscreen has the original stickers from the factory.
Ebay will only let me display 20 photos so we will be uploading approximately 100 photos on our website which will give you a better idea of the cars condition
