Description
This period compressor is extremely rare to find : it is of the same type as used for Panhard HBR5 or CD-Panhard in the classic era (1950-1960)., or for other makes like Peugeot, Renault etc.
Such a complessor was used in the legendary CD-Panhard LM64 of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Fitting this device to a standard engine delivers a significant additional power. It was also used in privateers Panhard-based protoypes such as the Nichols. There is no brand or manufacturer's plate, but the aspect is very much the one of the original Sferma as you can see on the "see-through" picture of the Le Mans CD-Panhard LM64.
