This stunning Derby Special really does catch the eye, the body is well proportioned and built to a vey high standard. A great deal of thought has gone into this Derby, and some of the best in the business have been used to produce this masterpiece. Alan Geater has worked on the trim and the renowned Carl Ford is the reason why she runs and drives so well.
The fabric Le Mans style coachwork is without doors, however entry is simple with the use of the side steps, there is plenty of room inside and even adequate room for passengers on the rear bench seat. There is a useful fabric covered box to the rear, which currently houses and assortment of spares, tonneau covers and side screens.
The roof is easily erected and un-like many specials, it is very well proportioned, and has the benefit of side screens for when the inclement weather strikes! This Derby is certainly well equipped and ready to rallied.
The engine itself runs smoothly and silently, however the exhaust emits a more W. O. Bentley sounding note. To the road she pulls brilliantly, the light body aids acceleration and stopping distance.
