The Excelsior Manxman is a very rare motorcycle and the last J12 series are regarded as THE most desirable/ rare as they have all the production improvements gained over the last 5 years of the production run.
This bike is a very late production model first registered in July 1939 which I believe only 8 350cc examples from 1939 have survived.
This machine has original matching engine & frame numbers.
It was bought by Derek Adams in 1949 and remained his property until 2012 when he sadly passed away after 63 years of ownership.
The story behind the bike it that it was purchased shortly before the outbreak of WWII, stored in a garage in North London whilst the owner went to war. Sadly, he did not return and the bike remained in storage until 1949.
The machine was restored over a 2 year period then ridden at the Isle of Man in 2015 on the closed road parade lap.
This lovely Excelsior Manxman has had 3 owners from new and must be one of the most genuine Manxman's in existence.
We have the facility to deliver the machine depending on distance/ location etc so please ask for a quote. Viewing is welcome by appointment so please get in touch.
I have just completed a 200 mile plus in a day VMCC event and the bike performed very well indeed and is a delight to ride, the only negative comment being that the front brake is poor although appears to be improving with use.

We have been contacted by a historian in Australia who has informed us our matching frame & engine numbered bike was the last off the production line prior to World War2 and the last Excelsior to be registered.
