Austin Healey 100/ 4 BN1, year 1954. Chassis (VIN) number BN1L1519XX. Colour red with a red leather interior, black dashboard and red carpet. Red side-screens, red soft-top and tonneau-cover. This is a gorgeous and early Austin Healey 100, the first of the legendary ‘Big Healeys’! This Austin Healey was extensively and body-off restored and overhauled in Denmark a few decades ago. A photo report of the restoration and rebuild is present as is a Heritage certificate. The car is in very good condition and it shows slight signs of use and age. The body shows a very nice panel fit and the car was uprated to ‘Le Mans’ specifications during the restoration. This ‘Big Healey’ features special headlamps, a cold-air-box, a special cylinder-head, a bonnet with air-scoops, a leather belt over the bonnet, Lucas SLR700 spot-lamps, a side-exhaust, etcetera. The car drives and sounds impressively – like a proper British sports car should! This Austin Healey is currently registered in the Netherlands, the car can be road-registered in any country.
