We are delighted to present this stunning 1968 original German Mercedes 280SL Pagoda with the super rare factory kinder seat. A beautifully specced model with just 56k miles in the hands of just 4 owners. Presented in the most beautiful colour of Arctic white with contrasting navy roof with navy leather interior. This car looks stunning in the flesh. Having had much recent expenditure to make this car one of the best on the Irish market today.
As you can see from the photos the exterior of this car presents excellently. The colour combination is just perfect for the Pagoda and it’s one of our favourites. The car sits up beautifully on her colour coded hubcaps with matching period tyres. The quality of the paint on this car is excellent with no mismatched panels and an excellent deep shine. All chrome work is fantastic and this car has zero rust.
The spec level on this car from new was excellent for a Pagoda. Complete with a upgraded sound system, Becker radio, automatic gearbox, kinder seat and beautifully preserved wood. This car was the gentleman’s express of the day. All carpets, seats and roof are excellent and are in remarkably good condition for a 51 year old car.
Mechanically this car is spot on. Having been maintained regardless of cost its entire life, the car has wanted for nothing. Most recently the car had a major service and drives superbly. On the road this car performs effortlessly and the cabin is extremely quiet.
Complete with invoices, tax discs, service manuals, book pack and two keys. This has to be one of the best Mercedes 280SL Pagodas available, needing zero work that could be used as an everyday classic or a weekend toy.
