Albany 1920's replica delivery van, bought new by Rington's tea of Newcastle Upon Tyne as a promotional vehicle.
We bought the van in the 1980's and had it sign written in our company logo. It generated lots of interest wherever it went, often seen at steam fairs, motorsport events, and vintage vehicle gatherings.
It's been sat in dry storage for the last 25 years. We have now fitted a new battery and points, and it is back up and running. Albany produced these in small numbers, but due to the excessive building costs went out of business a few years later. Now that the vehicle is over 40 years old and no longer requiring MOT or road tax fees, I'm reluctantly selling it due to lack of use/ space.
