For sale is my 1975 genuine works 250 jawa ISDT enduro motorcycle.
This is a rare opportunity to aquire a genuine works ISDT machine from 1975 and is one of the actual team bikes entered by the British team for the Isle of man ISDT of that year.
The works machines are reveered as some of the finest engineered classic ISDT bikes of all time, but if you know your classic enduro bikes you'll already know this.
For me to detail everything here would take an age to detail and I would suggest that serious collector/ riders contact me for the full history and details.
In brief, the jawa was fully renovated as you can see, but required very little, as its condition when it came to me, was remarkably original as it as seen very little action during and since 1975.
The motor is still on its original bore and still mics up perfect. on rebuild it was fitted with a genuine works piston and rings, mains, c/ seals, gaskets etc etc.
The original scrutineers details are still on the frame headstock and have been retained.
All the special components these works bikes had fitted are all present ie, twin ignition, Qd rear hub, decompressor, works exhaust etc etc and all function perfectly.
This particular jawa was to be ridden by Ted Thompson.
The bike was acquired by me a few years ago from a good friend and knowledgeable jawa ISDT man.
This bike I rebuilt to take part in the Rocroi non competitive enduro event held in the Arden forest 2019. the event is 80/ 90 kms duration and the jawa completed it effortlessly.

May I just add, please don't ask for me to accept a deposit for an unspecified period,
or for me to store the bike for an unspecified period of time. also anybody wanting to buy this bike please ensure you have the finances to buy it, and the means to collect it. especially if it is a international sale.
Due to a non payment and a long period of time wasted, I'm sorry but feel I must add this to avoid any more disappointment.
