One look at a W126 Mercedes SEC will leave you in no doubt as to what it’s all about. Its size, refinement and performance were unparalleled back in the day, and the 560 was the executive coupe’s ultimate iteration.
This Astral Silver 560 SEC from 1987 has had just two owners over its life, with the second owner having custodianship since 1988.
The overall condition is superb. The bodywork and paint are flawless, as is the interior. The grey leather is excellent, there are no scratches on the walnut trim, and a brand new headliner has recently been fitted. The original alloys have just been refurbished, too.
Mechanically, the car doesn’t disappoint, either. The 560 was the daddy of all engines available in the W126 range and the V8’s power and smoothness still impress today. There’s further peace of mind in that a brand new gearbox was fitted just 5k miles ago.
A full and complete service history comes with the car, along with invoices totaling £45k for work carried out over the years. Most recently, we have fitted new brake discs, a distributor cap, rotor, leads and plugs.
