FORDSON MAJOR E27N WORKING ORDER VINTAGE TRACTOR

Here’s a proper bit of English industrial history, Fordson E27N in working order, ready to have fun at this years shows and rallies.
It’s a petrol TVO model, understand it’s a 1947, crank start only, never had an elec starter fitted, gets going easily and runs well, gears select and clutch is smooth, brakes are very good, all the tyres stay up, no slows or leaks and the belt pulley works.
Just taken in PX, little used in recent years and only travelled to local shows. This was the actual tractor used to create the “Border Fine Arts” series of ornament’s featuring an E27n (Google them), sold to BFA by the current owner who then bought back again when they’d finished with it.
Its not something we’re very familiar with and not sure if the PTO lever is stuck or we’re doing something wrong, but not forced it, also not sure if its high or low geared which I often hear commented on with these machines. Original draw bar present if you want to do some vintage ploughing.
Not road registered and the current long term owner believes it has never been on the road. Plastic bag around magneto provided by current owner for transport, no issues.
A proper collector’s item, its well presented with a good patina and not the overdone freshly restored look, it’s not a concourse show pony, its is working and priced to sell.
