The R107 SL was produced for a staggering 18 years, so surely Mercedes must have been doing something right? Well, this exceptional 1986 example proves that they were.
Finished in the most beautiful colour of Diamond Blue metallic, this faultless 300SL is easily one of the best we have seen and has been maintained to the very highest standard over its mere 78k miles.
From the dark blue soft top, to the blue Sports Check interior, to the super smooth 3. 0 six cylinder…the overall condition is remarkable.
In addition to some factory upgrades such as cruise control and a central armrest, there are some discreet modern touches, also, like an immobiliser and USB charging point in the glovebox.
Crucially, this R107 has an extensive history file (129 pages!) from its 34 years and has most recently been looked after by leading SL specialists, the SL Shop, who only work on the very finest examples.
