Bond Bug 700 ES.
1972.
Full V5 in my name, with matching numbers / original VIN plate present.
Nice registration number - JMH 42K
Rolling restoration project (moves freely on its wheels etc).
It has previously been stripped down and the restoration started.
Canopy and body are loose and have been temporarily ‘sat’ back on the chassis (but not properly fitted), for ease of transport.
Replacement galvanised chassis.
Replacement 850 engine (turns freely by hand).
Original seat cushions and doors etc – obviously need repairing / replacing, but ideal for templates etc.
Windscreen included, but is cracked (being totally flat, these are easily and cheaply cut by any windscreen company - I kept the damaged screen as it can still be used as a template.
This is to be considered as a full restoration project.
What you see is what you get really.
Looks to be 90% complete – all the main bits are there, obviously there will be a few bits and pieces that will need sourcing.
The Bond Bug is located in Chelmsford, Essex - viewings welcome.
Alternatively, if distance is an issue, I can pass on the contact details of a very reliable (and cheap) transporter who I have used on several occasions, covers the entire UK and is happy / able to transport three wheelers (you'd be surprised how many can't or won't).
I am happy to assist the buyer in any way that I can to facilitate their collection/ delivery.
