This listing is for my 1978 CZ 380 motocross bike.
The bike was manufactured in 1978. The model number is 998 and it has a 981 engine.
These bikes were fitted with Marzocchi forks and alloy tanks as per the brochure which will be included in the sale.
I bought the bike as it is and all credit goes to the previous owner who has done a great job on it and basically refurbished the whole bike. T he frame has been powder coated, the wheels redone and shod with new Michelin cross competition tyres.
Not sure what kind of work was done to the engine but it runs and sounds great. It is fitted with a Bing 54 carb and electronic ignition.
Starts very easily on couple of kicks. It is loud and angry, definitely not for the faint hearted.
The bike has an ID plate. The engine number doesn't match this so I'm assuming the engine was replaced at some point.
There doesn't seem to be many of these 380s for sale so don't miss your chance.
I'm only selling it as I've got few too many CZs and I fancy a bit of change. Equally I'm in no rush to sell it.
Cash payment on collection or via bank transfer before the bike is released. Collection within safe distancing measures of course.
