We are delighted to offer this ultimate iteration of the Sebring TMX, powered by a 6. 3 litre Chevrolet V8.
The specification is impressive – Small Block Chevrolet V8 383 cubic inch litre stroker built by British American Engines with Eagle crank and rods with Keith Black pistons, Edelbrock Performer alloy cylinder heads, high lift camshaft and high torque starter motor. Output is 385bhp with 400ib/ ft of torque.
The gearbox is a Toyota Supra Turbo R154 5 speed manual mated to a Ford limited slip diff with a 3. 14:1 final drive. The wheels are Image BRM6 fitted with 17 inch Toyo tyres. Sebring fully adjustable double wishbone suspension is fitted with filled coil-over shocks all round and electrically assisted rack and pinion steering. The exhaust is a custom made 2. 5” stainless system with ceramic coated mild steel headers.
A Pioneer radio/ cd/ ipod/ Bluetooth is fitted and security is taken care of by a Cobra Thatcham Category 1 alarm system.
The Sebring was constructed over a two year period commencing in 2007 and there is a complete photographic record of its construction on cd together with every receipt, which add up to a great deal of money spent. There is also a full technical spec. for the engine from the supplier and a full MoT history.
The paintwork is BMW Aqua Rally Blue over BMW Old English White and is done to a very high standard – the Sebring is superbly presented.
Performance, as you might expect, is more than adequate and the car is a real head turner with its classic Austin Healey inspired lines.
Not something for shrinking violets, this is a very potent motor car.
