1968 Jaguar 340 Automatic With Power Steering 57, 000 miles with 4 recorded keepers and full supporting history . Finished in its original cream coachwork with contrasting original red ambla interior . Reading from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate Chassis number P1 52211BW was dispatched to Henlys Of London on the 17th of September 1968 . Supplied new by Kenning Garages on the Edgeware Road , London on the 9th of October 1968 to Babcock & Wilcox , Babcock Mews , Euston Road . I got involved with this 340 in 2003 purchasing it from its second owner and selling to its last 2 keepers who have owned and maintained the 340 since July 2003 . Mileage recorded on my sales invoice was 47, 365 miles . Today the 340 is very much as I sold it and a very original example through out . Mainly original paint work , Two new jacking points were fitted by David Manners Servicing in 2013 . The carpet is original as is the seating and wood work . All have a nice patina in line with 340, s original presentation . Since 2004 The 340 has been Maintained by marque specialists "David Manners" , All invoices supplied . Excellent oil pressure is maintained and no over heating issues noted .
