Registered in December 1996 this SL320 R129 model is finished in Azurite blue (366) with contrasting beige leather (265A). The SL R129 series were produced using a shortened version of the W124 series chassis, and were in production between 1989 and 2001. They were launched with many new innovative features such as the safety belts being incorporated into the seats, and a hidden automatically operated roll over bar for added open top protection. Mid way through production in 1995 the facelifted versions were introduced with lower body panels and bumpers in body colour, in addition to an interior refresh. This example has covered 91k miles, with an extensive service history record demonstrated by 16 service stamps in its service booklet. Also there is a large history file of receipts for works completed to accompany this. In addition to its standard specification of 5 speed automatic transmission, cruise control, ABS, electric windows etc, there are also heated seats, AMG style alloy wheels and climate control. Presenting extremely well and fresh from its most recent ownership of 6 years, it is evident from Mot certificates and service history that the car has traveled less than 1k miles each year, and previously as little as a few hundred miles per annum.
