Here’s an affordable jump on and use road registered vintage tractor, same owner for last 30 years, modern log book, drive it away today.
It’s a 4 cylinder model and starts in its own with no help or additive, runs very well, pulls very well. Excellent brakes pulling you up sharp and locking up if pressed hard. All the gears select in both ranges, no judder on the clutch. Lift arms and PTO working correctly.
Plenty of tread on all four tyres, rears are very good, fronts have age cracks but no leaks. Had a new clock at some point so unknown hours, log book records a new engine in 1986, its been with the current keeper for 30 years and the owner before him had it for 21 years, its always been in Northern Ireland since it was first registered there as new May 1958.
Good straight and solid tinwork, presentable paintwork, it was a little dull when it arrived but has polished up ok. No signs of any serious drips or leaks. Good to drive with nominal play in the steering, goes very well down the road.
