SORRY NOW SOLD TO BRIAN!!!! Here is my stunning nut and bolt rebuild UK spec Z900A4. I decided at start of lockdown to rebuild her, she was still running well beforehand but decided to do it to give me something to do and so here is the finished article. Where do I start, this bike is in fantastic condition everything that was original was refurbished fixed and kept.
-Original date stamped wheel rims re-chromed and re-spoked and fitted with new period tyres
-Original date stamped swingarm
-Original date stamped brake torsion bar
-Original stamped clocks refurbished by AL Marshall of Z clocks
-Frame powder coated
-Engine stripped down and pistons, rings, bearings and crankshaft found to be in excellent condition with very little wear which would commensurate with mileage.
-Head sent to Grumpy1260 and had new valves, stems and guides ground and fitted
-Carburetors rebuilt with new jets, seals, gaskets etc
-All new paint by Paintbox to exceptional standard.
-New Dynatek ignition fitted
-Complete new wiring harness throughout bike
-Correct air box, toolkits and owners manual
-Brand new exhaust system from ZPower
-complete with hazard switch and annoying indicator buzzer.( presently disconnected for obvious reasons)
I’m sure I have forgotten lots of things but all I know is this bike is simply beautiful and has done 280 miles from rebuild and is silky smooth and powerful, l have lots more photos of bike including a full set of rebuild photos from start to finish, although the photos on this ad do not do this bike justice I highly recommend viewing to appreciate. If you are looking at this bike you obviously know the cost to me to get this bike to this standard, I do not do this to make money I just adore working on bikes as my hobby for the last 30 years and I have just purchased an Rd250lc to go along with my Rd350lc which requires a total rebuild so my wife has put foot down and said one in one out!! So trying to decide which one to sell has been hard. I also have a email from Kawasaki confirming this is a matching frame and engine bike.
The history of the bike I have been able to obtain is that it was bought in UK were the guy worked and then he took it back home to Ireland with him were it stayed until the guy I bought it from in Northern Ireland bought it it 2015.
