Lovely rare classic 1967 Classic BSA Starfire 250, one of the very first, with matching frame and engine numbers, recorded as an Historic vehicle (no road tax or MOT required)
Notable features, modifications and improvements are as follows:
Complete professional engine rebuild, to include 1971 spec for con rod (B25SS – strongest), 8:1 piston (+40), balanced crankshaft and roller main bearings
52 teeth rear sprocket in place of a 49 for that quicker standing start
Re-wired with thin wall cable 12 volt conversion with earthling back to battery
Podtronics Electronic regulator/ rectifier
Magnets fitted inside sump plate and gearbox drain plug
New front brake shoes, new fork seals, oil and stanchions hard chromed
Return feed oil filter kit and new fuel filters
Steel fuel tank not fibre glass
All new cables and Amal concentric carburettor
Mirrors and period Lucas indicators with the correct Lucas switches for modern traffic riding
New rubbers, battery, points and rear shocks
