Dutton Melos for sale. Based on a mk1 escort, 1300 gt crossflow engine (progressive Webber and tubular manifold). Correctly registered as a Dutton. Goes well and fun to drive, but short ratio gearbox means top end is probably 80ish! I've owned it for the last year, and it was a great lockdown project to get it up to scratch. It's had a brand new wiring loom from carbuilders solutions, new propshaft, new adjustable front springs and shocks and engine fully serviced. Full wet weather gear also included. Comes with some spares and a mountains of receipts from build in 1987 to now. MOT'd until June, and no reason it shouldn't sail through the next one. More photo's available on request, these were the only ones I had to hand and it's under a cover at the moment. Only selling as my partner won't get in it, and I've got other toys that need attention!
