My brilliant little Daihatsu Sportrak 1. 6 EFI (not to be confused with the bigger Fourtrak) is for sale. Fantastic for those wanting some fun in the summer as the roof above the driver pops out and you can also lift the entire rear roof off the car – see photos - in about 15 mins giving you open-air motoring. it’s also great in the snow having 2wd, 4wd high and 4wd low ratio. I have a soft top that will come with the car but have never fitted it so I cant vouch for its fitting.
First registered on January 28th, 1992 it has covered only 77, 500 miles which, from the MOT history and other documents, I believe to be correct (this might go up a little as I do still drive it. MOT until October 30th, 2021. This is a propper little 4x 4 that can pull up to 1. 5 tonnes and comes complete with towbar and electrics. I will aslo do about 38 mpg.
It has some really robust off-road wheels fitted with General Graber tyres and comes with four additional steel wheels and tyres all with pretty good tread on them.
For 29 years old car the interior is in remarkably good condition whilst the exterior can be described as good there are however a few small areas that could do with some attention if you want to make it perfect. I have recently fitted a new exhaust front pipe and catalytic converter whilst the rear section of the exhaust is less than 12 months old. Another new addition is a heavy-duty battery.
As with all classic cars, things can sometimes go wrong, but included in the full price is a spare gearbox complete with a transfer box, a professionally refurbished steering box, a new alternator plus a box of various miscellaneous parts gathered over several years.
