On offer is this recent barn find which has been in dry storage for many years. Originally registered in Coventry, this GT is in the very rare colour scheme of black tulip with ochre interior and combined with extensive history, which includes the original passport to service, low ownership and generally solid condition make it an ideal candidate for renovation.
We have had the car running and carried out a few repairs so that it starts and moves around including replacement distributor, water pump and heater tap but it will need tuning and probably a carb/ fuel tank flush to get it to run well.
We haven't carried out a full inspection underneath but can see that the O/ S rear arch to sill area will need work. However, it presents well and the sills generally seem good, the doors are excellent, as are the wings.
With a weekends fettling and work on the brakes and new tyres, it could be a driver but would advise that you will need to trailer it away.
