1960 Wolseley 1500 Saloon. Rare Fleet model. Masons black with red upholstery. This lovely Wolseley has had just two previous keepers throughout its life, the first owning the car for some 55 years. Supplied new by M. D Thorp, Wolseley dealers in Ipswich to Mr Wiggin of Whitnesham Ipswich. The car is now displaying just 36, 000 miles and the history file contains all of the original handbooks supplied with the car when new. The Wolseley was sympathetically restored during 2018 and importantly still retaining all of its charm and originality with a history folder full of bills, invoices and old mot certificates. The paintwork has a great lustre and shines beautifully in the sunlight and the upholstery showing minimal signs of wear, amazingly the car has never even had a radio fitted. The original registration plate is still with the car which is transferable and valued at £1500. Mechanically the 1500 is a very strong car, starting on the button and driving very well on test drive and now ready for the upcoming car shows and rallies.
