FANTASTIC tidy example of this gorgeous 1978 superbike. as fast as a Kawasaki Z1 but smoother and with better handling, the GS1000 E has a turbine like four cylinder DOHC engine with electric start and five speed gearbox.
This 78 GS1000 E Suzuki is finished in Black with the sunken period style white pin-striping, overall it is in very tidy condition considering the bike is going on 43 years of age and having only covered 28, 794 miles, the bike has also been sympathetically and partially restored, i. e Frame & bodywork repainted.
Classic registered ( HISTORIC VEHICLE ) Tax & Mot exempt with 28, 794 recorded miles. Avon Road rider tyres in great condition, recently serviced oils, filter, plugs & points. Engine runs smoothly with no rattles or oil leaks. Only used as Summer week-end dry weather bike by last owner.
This 1978 Suzuki DOHC 1000cc is beautifully engineered and is regarded as better than its four cylinder contemporaries from Honda Kawasaki & Yamaha- values are only going to go one way very soon !
