Here at Old Colonel Cars we are delighted to have this absolutely superb Porsche 911 997 Turbo Manual. A very rare ‘Gen 1. 5’, 1 of only 50 RHD Manual examples that came to the UK. The Gen 1. 5’s were only produced for 9 months, they are the very last 997 turbo to feature the renowned 3. 6 Mezger Turbo engine, for Gen 1. 5’s they were also specified with the PCM 3. 0, so they have the ideal setup. This example was produced in March 2009, its covered only 49, 000 miles. It benefits from an excellent, fully documented service history. See the service history breakdown below, this car has always been maintained correctly, mostly under Porsche warranty, so all recalls etc have been done. Presented in immaculate condition, just fully serviced and MOT’d, ready for sale. This service was the big, 48, 000 or 12 year service, including gearbox / AWD / Diff oil changes. On top of the perfect maintenance history, this cars paintwork has been fully protected along with maintaining the vulnerable wheel arch protection. So a fully sorted and ready to enjoy example.

Finished in Basalt Black paintwork with a Black extended leather interior. This car comes with a lovely specification. Bodywork / Interior
The Basalt Black paintwork as you can hopefully see from the many pictures and video, have been maintained to an excellent standard. Ceramic protection maintains this deep all over shine, no noticeable marks, an example that would stand out at any show.
The inside also presents to the same high standard. Lovely soft leather with the contrast of the carbon trim, this extends to the sills as you open the door and continue to the centre console.
Engine / Gearbox
The 3. 6 Turbo ‘Mezger’ engine performs perfectly. Fresh from the major service, everything as you would expect is running perfectly. The performance from the 997 turbo is as instant and potent as you would expect, but as with any 911 turbo, even with all this power always on tap, its amazing how Porsche make these cars so comfortable and easy to live with for day to day driving. The perfect combination.
The 6 speed manual gearbox on this car is a delight to use. The clutch / flywheel has been replaced on this example, so clutch and gear changes feel very precise.
