1965 Panhead for sale, original transferable reg no YRL180C. 23000 miles. I understand it has many non standard and upgraded parts including a disc conversion on the front, but im not an expert on these bikes (I'm into British Bikes) I have been told it was a US police bike due to its unusual set up (Gearbox, huge 5 gallon fuel tank and handlebars) but i cant confirm. This 1965 model panhead was the first HD with electric start and is an Electraglide, not a Duo Glide (Panheads up to 1964)
The bike has been off the road for several years and recently recommissioned by a vintage HD specialist. This work included new clutch starter ring, rebuilt rear brake, rewired, rebuilt carb and accelerator pump, full service (total cost £2300. 00) and now runs and rides superbly. I have been using it around my local area and its a lovely bike and sounds superb with a very old school slow revving engine.
She has lots of patina and has not been touched cosmetically since coming out of storage. There is a set of luggage that came with the bike on a frame that bolts under the rear fender. The bike can be restored or happily ridden as she is. She is UK registered and I have the V5 in my name.
