Beskrivning
In 1965 MG introduced the fixed roof MGB GT. With its elegant sloping back window and rear bench seat it allowed much more space than the roadster. Retaining its 1. 8, few changes were made to the GT’s, uprated suspension springs and anti-roll bars were the main area of change to improve the handling and ride. Could this be the perfect little classic?
Our car ‘TCG 779H’ was first registered on the 13th August 1969. Finished in Old English white with black leather interior with an early spring steering wheel, it’s driven by a 1. 8 Litre engine and 4 speed full synchromesh gearbox with overdrive. In 2014-2015 the car was fully restored by its current owner, with the help from various specialists. A comprehensive photograph album outlines the process of its restoration.
Most recently, in April 2021 the car underwent a full service. This included stripping the carburettors and cleaning, cleaning out fuel lines, fitting 2 new wheel cylinders, fitting new headlamp conversions etc. The car arrived at our premises a short while ago, since then we have given it a full CMC inspection prior to offering it for sale. As ever, the car will come with fresh 12 Months MOT as well as 3 month/ 3000 mile warranty (whichever comes first).
