Probably one of the coolest bikes ever made. Collaboration between Harley-Davidson and Porsche! What a spectacular design and colour combination. This is the limited production 105th Anniversary Edition.
The Harley-Davidson VRSC (V-Twin Racing Street Custom), or V-Rod, is a line of V-twin muscle bikes, produced by Harley-Davidson and became the company’s best-selling bike in many countries. The V-Rod competes directly and competitively against Japanese and American muscle bikes alike. It accomplishes this feat by using the Revolution engine, developed jointly with Porsche that used superior technology like overhead cams and liquid cooling. Loosely based on the VR-1000 Superbike, Harley-Davidson builds it as a platform for drag-racing competition machines.
In 2008 the VRSCAW V-Rod’s Revolution was increased from 1, 131 cc to 1, 247 cubic centimetres (76. 1 cu in), producing a 84 pound force-feet (114 N?m) @ 7, 000 rpm, and peak power of 123 horsepower (92 kW) at the crankshaft and a slipper clutch was also added.
These are cool bikes and are getting harder to find. They are no longer being produced.
