Optional extras as fitted by the factory are as follows : Metallic Paint, Park Assist, Sunroof, Tiptronic 'S', Heated seats, Telephone and Navigation module for PCM, 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, metallic paint. This brought the total invoice for the car to £70, 952.
The 911 has had some three owners, the second owner, upon retiring to the Channel Islands deciding to take the car with him in 2013. Changing hands in 2014 for the last time, it has remained on Jersey until very recently.
With regards to condition, it is exceptional, clearly very well looked after as well as being enthusiast owned. Near unmarked bodywork, I would suggest largely factory paint finish, and of course, all original factory panels. The factory fitment alloy wheels are all in excellent order, complemented by Michelin Tyres.
As is correct for 3. 8 litre 997 cars only, the red callipers are present.
The black leather interior is once again in very good condition, no undue wear, has had no need for any leather reconditioning, original Porsche overmats fitted from new.
Mechanically, absolutely spot on!
In 2016, at 63, 000 miles, the car had a full engine rebuild. The first signs of the 997 engine problem were surfacing, so the sensible route was to have the engine sorted out once and for all. The engine was sent off to Harteck, who are probably the leading 911 engine specialists in the country and held in very high regard. This engine problem, a real achilles heel on 997's, has been sorted, so a considerable worry has been lifted, and any future problems gone.
There are 15 stamps in the service book, and to keep maintenance up to date, a major, spark plug/ drive belt service has been carried out in July by Steve Bull Porsche, along with a brake fluid change, all coolant hoses replaced and PAS pump replacement, and new battery.
The car has an MOT until July 27th 2022, and I have all the necessary paperwork to revert the car back onto a UK mainland registration number for the new owner. I can help any new owner with the transaction should he/ she want me to.
All the original handbooks, owners manual etc are present, along with a full file of bills, documents etc. A lovely fully sorted example of a 911, which drives exceptionally well, and is ready to use. A beautiful car!
