Hello and welcome to the sale of this stunning Polo GTI. It has covered just 64k miles with three previous keepers, and come with a full service history which is predominantly VW main dealer. It has also had the cambelt changed recently. The metallic black exterior is in amazing condition for the age with hardly a mark on it, and the paintwork retains a deep shine. All the alloy wheels are in excellent order and shod with matching Michelin tyres all round. The interior is just as good, with the iconic chequered sports seats in mint condition. This car also has climate control. The car starts, runs and drives very well with no apparent faults. It is totally standard and unmodified, although I have just had it rolling road tuned by renowned VW turbo specialists Badger5 in Stroud who have confirmed it to be running very well indeed with over 180bhp and print out to prove. This car has been part of my personal car collection for the last couple of years and covered hardly any mileage but I have just bought a mk4 Golf Anniversary for myself and I cannot justify keeping both! To sum up this is a fantastic example of a car that is becoming increasingly rare and valuable, the condition and provenance will suit any VW collector or enthusiast and I am sure the new owner will be as pleased as I have been with it. NOTE- cherished reg has been retained and has now reverted to it's orginal '56' reg.
