INTERNATIONAL McCORMICK B275 EARLY 1959 VINTAGE TRACTOR ! ! !

We bought this direct from a local farm, its not been used or worked much in recent years and is looking for a new home, really good looker and will do a days work but has room for improvement as with all vintage machines.
Probably the straightest “B” series bonnet we’ve ever seen with the early ally cast “McCormick International” badges, serial number is from 1959, not road registered, its appears complete, still retaining its original drawbar and the hour meter on the pump has 6318 hours recorded.
It will start on its own with plenty of heat and the cold start pulled out, chugs a bit before firing, smokes a bit a first and clears when warmed up. Starts easily after cold start, see video. all the gears select in both ranges, the clutch is smooth with no judder. Brakes do work, as does the handbrake, it will hold on a hill but they are not sharp. PTO selects and stops when disengaged, the lift arms work quickly and smoothly, original drawbar in place.
There is some play in the front wheel bearings but it’s not undriveable (see video), the incorrect more modern seat is failing on the backrest. Engine oil is very black, we understand its not been looked at for at least 8 years, it really wants a full service and check over. Tyres all have plenty of tread, no slows or leaks, some age cracks appearing.
Can be road registered, we can guide the buyer through the process and provide the necessary links, it will take several months to achieve.
Overall it’s a very well presented tractor that could go right to work with just an oil change or the buyer could make further improvements, you decide, it would be a crying shame but its fast approaching scraper tractor time and its affordable.
