Good tractor for one lucky buyer, does everything it should do, gets up in a morning, road registered with log book and its less than half the price of its rival Massey 135.
We have the original and modern log books, looks to have one owner from 1966 to 2006 and then just the second owner till present. Starts o its own with no help or additive, runs well and pulls well, no breathing or spitting from the dipstick and good oil pressure on a working gauge.
Brakes work, handbrake works very well and will hold on a steep hill. Rear lift arms and PTO work well, see video of it powering a saw bench. Tipper pipe with old style connection and original swinging drawbar. It has 4066 hours n a none working clock. Clutch is smooth with no judder and plenty of bite, all gears select in both ranges.
Tin works is fairly straight and possibly never been painted, foot plates are solid, some tin worm showing in the wing’s but they remain firm and solid to sit on. Foot brakes work but need a good effort, might need adjusting or using to bed in, the heater switch is by passed with 2 connector wires but it works well, only needs 10 seconds from cold and fires right up with no chugging, not moved much recently and we’d advise a service and check over.
This is a very untouched or meddled with tractor with low ownership, its excellent value and will go right to work, road run or a make very sound base for a mint restoration.
