Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 is the successor to Lamborghini’s most successful model to date. Performance, handling and design simply set new standards.
With sharp angles and extremely short overhangs, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 is pure thoroughbred from every angle. The newly developed front-end styling, in addition to being functionally more efficient, takes its inspiration from the Lamborghini Reventon supercar. Y-shaped LED running lights and large quad exhausts add to its unique and powerful presence.
Low slung and beautifully styled, the new cabin is also practical. There’s plenty of room for two and 110 litres of luggage room for overnight trips. Every detail is solid and well-engineered, providing a blend of rational ergonomic sense and pure Italian flair.
The high-powered heart of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is a new 5. 2-litre V10 engine which produces 560PS at 8, 000rpm. This is an increase of 40PS compared with the previous model, in a sports car that now weighs 20kg less. The result is a power to weight ratio of 2. 5kg per PS and a 0-100km/ h in 3. 7 seconds.
In addition to lighter weight and more power, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is also increasingly efficient. Its brilliant new fuel injection system not only makes the car more thrilling to drive, it also contributes to a major reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of 18 percent.
There is a choice of transmissions for the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4. Purists can go for the six-speed manual gearbox, with its evocative exposed metal gate and ‘click-clack’ soundtrack as you swap ratios. Alternatively, you can choose the extraordinary e-Gear, an electronically managed automated system with steering wheel-mounted paddles that shift through its six ratios with incredible speed. It also has a choice of three modes for different conditions or driver tastes.
