Biarritz Sports And Classic Cars (Bscc) is pleased to present this 1969 MG B GT
With a production of about 100000 vehicles, the 2+2 version of the MG B was considered as a real success. With its 4 cylinders engine developing 98hp and its 4 speed gearbox with overdrive, it conquered many drivers.
This MG B GT, in spite of a beautiful presentation on the pictures, is not free of defects.
The bodywork needs to be restored (lower front wings, rear floor, boot...)
The engine starts and runs perfectly, an electric fan has been added to avoid overheating. Some oil leak but nothing alarming.
The interior is in very good condition, whether it is the upholstery or the carpets. It has an interesting option of wood trim on the interior doors which significantly enhances the feeling of luxury.
It is also equipped with a webasto sunroof and spoked wheels.
The road test is consistent. The engine revs normally, the braking and suspension are within the standards of the time. It is a pleasant car to drive and after restoration it will be the envy of many.
