Rare opportunity to acquire one of the last surviving, RHD, Mercedes W111 fuel-injected saloons.
Originally registered in 1961. Belonged to a member of the Armed Forces who based in Cyprus until 1964
Used up until 1977 when it was put into dry storage where it remained until 2017
W111 220 SEB 'Fintail' (early injection) with a column shift gearbox and sunroof. 1 registered keeper in the V5
Barn find in 2017 and restoration commenced (over £20, 000 spent up to this point)
So far the work has concentrated on the running gear and engine (see Condition Report)
Still wearing its factory paint which now requires a refresh although the bodywork appears solid
All the electrics work! Every light, switch control functions as it should. Original red rear indicators
Complete with 2 keys and full service record stamped 42 times right up until 1977 at 83, 000 miles
Original documents and car manuals/ booklets are present including the last registration documen
