A very nice example example of Fiat’s utilitarian peoples’ car, this Panda 1000 CLX has covered only 64, 000 miles from new.
Bodywork is very solid and, save for a few small dings, the paintwork is in good condition. Inside is completely unmolested with original seats, trim and fittings showing good use. There is a small visible repair to the driver’s seat back but, otherwise, there’s no damage inside and all is in full working order.
Steering is light and as responsive as expected and the car drives with no knocks or other assorted noises that so often accompany these cars. The 999cc FIRE motor fires on the button and runs smoothly through the range. No issues are apparent with the 5-speed transmission. Whilst basic, the electrics are all operative and no dash warning lights showing.
This is a very usable modern classic with potential for further improvement. It will have a new MOT at the point of sale.
