Up for sale is our 2004 trail manor mt3124kb american travel trailer. It's 24ft when closed down and 31ft when popped up.
the process of turning it from a trailer to a caravan is very simple and can easily be done by one person.
call it what you like - pop up caravan, camper, rv trailer, camping trailer or a travel trailer or fifth wheel as they are known in the usa.
this caravan tows from a normal uk ball tow hitch, so can be towed by any car, van or truck. It has a new 13 pin hella tow socket (although you can use it with a 7 pin adaptor too)
we bought this caravan in lockdown and we've had quite a few weekends away at american car shows, vw shows and watching the drag racing at santa pod. This is so much better than a tent!!
my "kids" are now 21 and 18, so we've bought them a camper van so they can have their own independence and that's the only reason that we are selling.

everything on this caravan is working. I had my mechanic & electrician go through the whole thing before we set off camping. Tyres are good, bearings are good, basically every thing works as it should.
the leisure battery is charged from the tow electrics, so while you are driving it's getting a recharge.
there are 240v sockets for when on hook up.
the internal lighting can work from the leisure battery and from 240v.
this american caravan has lots of advantages over an rv - no road tax, no insurance, it folds down low for towing so no worries about height restrictions, will be accepted on camp sites that don't allow rv's, cheap to tow and it's easy to store. This caravan has a hard shell roof and not the fabric type that require constant maintenance on rv's
this would be ideal for camping, car shows, festivals, off grid living, self build projects, holidays with the family.
i have some bits that i will include like, wing mirror extensions, 240v plug in leads, awning ties, drill bit for winding the legs down, hoses for the grey water, tv, two new gas bottles, brand new leisure battery.
please don't be mistaken, this caravan sets up in minutes, it is easy to tow, it's warm, it doesn't leak, it's great fun and the inside is huge!
you could tow this behind your car, your camper van or maybe even your american vehicle / classic car.
every time you pull up, people will look in amazement as it pops up. I am always happy to give people a guided tour. It really is clever how it works.
all parts are available at reasonable prices through uk rv parts retailers and there is a very active internet forum in the usa for help and guidance, should you need it. I have not required anything during my ownership.
i would happily tow this caravan into europe and go away for months in it.
in summary, come and look, buy it and go camping / travelling straight away.
