Superb Kawasaki KR1S ready to go and complete with MOT till November 2022. Just had a full service at a reputable dealer, all fluids renewed. They've also cleaned the fuel lines and carbs, flushed out the fuel tank, and treated with a professional sealant.
Plus work completed less than 300 miles ago:-
* New fuel tap fitted
* Wheels powder coated, new tyres and bearings
* Brake calipers stripped and repainted in gold caliper paint.
* New pistons and seals in front calipers new seals in rear.
* Rear shock rebuilt with new rod and internals, spring powder coated.
* Bottom suspension linkage stripped and repainted with aluminium engine enamel, new roller bearings and seals
* New Venhill brake hoses front and rear
* New brake pads front and rear
* Front forks stripped, cleaned new seals and guides
* Fork lowers stripped and polished
* Bottom yoke, kickstart and side stand repainted in aluminium engine enamel (and baked in oven to harden)
* New battery
* Refurbished rear footrest hangers inc new bushes
* Remanufactured lower exhaust bracket and new bushes
* Exhausts stripped and treated with a special heat resistant oven baked paint. I don't think anyone has come up with a way to replicate the original factory finish... it's like black chrome, but not chrome
* Front brake master cylinder
* New after market screen
* Faring side brackets black passivated
* Wheel spindles zinc plated
Motor runs very well, good power. Takes off and rides as it should. One lovely looking and genuine KR1S.
This motorcycle belongs to myself and purchased from a reputable dealer early January this year. However, my plans have changed due to a family bereavement. Therefore I won't now have the time to give it the care and attention it deserves.
